Parking Stickers Must Be on Windshield
by posted 05/17/2012

Please read the excerpt from a message that we received regarding the parking stickers:

"The vendor that works at the Beaches at West Beach and Cove Island mentioned that many people are simply showing the sticker when driving past the booth and it is not adhered to the window.  The Park police will ticket all vehicles that do not have stickers adhered to the window."

Please make sure that the stickers are adhered to the car windshields or you will risk getting a ticket.

Lost Glove
by posted 05/17/2012

Attention - a glove has been lost at the Federal Little League Fields.  It is a brown Rawlings glove with JOB and BOB written on the thumb.  If you have seen it or know where it is, please let a league officer know.

Thanks!

Parking Stickers
by posted 05/08/2012

- Each car parked near the West Beach fields will need to have a sports parking sticker or a beach sticker, or risk receiving a parking ticket.
- The requirement to have a sports parking sticker or beach sticker is in effect from May 1 through September 30.
- If you have a beach sticker, you will not need a sports parking sticker for that car.
- The coach of each team has received a set of sports parking stickers to pass out to the families of each team.
- He has received one per player. Please note that the City of Stamford provides us with one sticker per player.
- These sports parking stickers are only good for parking in the lots near the fields during games or practices and not for entrance into the beaches.

Get ready for some Bluefish baseball!

We have been able to get discounted tickets for the Bridgeport Bluefish game on Saturday, June 9th (6:05 game start vs. the Lancaster Barnstormers, also a Bluefish Water Bottle Giveaway for the 1st 1,000 fans). The tickets are $7 each and are for the Loge section in the stadium. Currently we have 50 tickets available but we can get more if we need them.

The kids will participate in a parade on the field prior to the game and also the league name will be announced over the loudspeaker system!

Please see Barry Denison when he is in the scorer's box on Field 1 (but not on days when he is coaching his Knights of Columbus major division team).  He is there during game times on Monday through Thursday evenings, and on most Saturday mornings through late-afternoon.

Please come get your tickets as soon as you can!  This will be a great way for the entire league to do something else fun together!
